Ena’s competitive spirit has been apparent since she began playing tennis with her father and brothers at age 7. They were her inspiration and her primary coaches. Since her first tournament at age 8, Shibahara has shown skill, dedication, and leadership beyond her years.
At Palos Verdes Peninsula High School, Ena was a four-time season MVP. She completed her freshman season at UCLA, where she finished at No. 4 in the NCAA Division I Women’s National Singles Rankings and was named All-American for the 2017 season.
With no shortage of passion and determination, this aspiring young professional is on a mission to become a Grand Slam Champion.
